To weave a basket you will need:
• cardboard;
• scissors;
• magazine paper tubes - 46 pieces;
• double sided tape;
• PVA glue;
• clothespins.
Two squares with sides of 20 cm are cut out of cardboard, double-sided tape is glued to one of them, and tubes of 20 pieces are evenly distributed. Another layer of tape is applied on top, then the entire structure is covered with a second square and pressed down.

The protruding tubes - racks - are bent at right angles to the bottom, and weaving begins with an additional working vine. As necessary, the working lashes are built up. After going through two rows of simple binding, 4 more tubes are added to the working threads.

Each pair of such lashes hugs the base posts in turn. This is how a “rope” weave is obtained. This pattern is made twice on this product; the distance between the “ropes” is made in six rows of simple binding.

Having completed the last turn of the pattern, the working threads are broken and glued to the main fabric of the walls. The work is closed by twisting the racks behind each other in the opposite direction.

Now the top of the resulting model is covered with a thick layer of PVA glue and left to dry for a long time. The final manufacturing operation is to trim off all excess ends of the posts.
