Plaster and putty can be applied to walls using a compressor. This is the easiest way to achieve uniform distribution of the composition over the surface. To do this, you need a special gun, which can be quickly assembled from plumbing fittings.
Basic materials:
- 3/4" tee;
- blow gun;
- 3/4 inch nuts - 2 pcs.;
- nut 1 inch;
- drives for the meter – 2 pcs.;
- plastic funnel with thread;
- thin tube.
Plaster gun manufacturing process
The spout of the blow gun is removed. A washer of a suitable size is placed on its thread.
Then you need to put a nut on the gun and screw on the spout with the washer, coating everything with thread locker.
The nut on the gun is screwed onto the tee.
Opposite it, a squeegee for the meter is screwed on, with a piece of tube pressed inside. In this case, an aluminum ski pole was suitable.
Now you need to solder the 3/4 and 1 inch nuts together. They are screwed onto the side outlet of the tee, and a funnel is placed on them.
Finally, you need to make a nozzle. You can use a 6mm or thicker tube.It is soldered into a fitting with a nut and screwed onto the drive for the meter.
With this gun you will be able to apply liquid plaster, including decorative plaster, as well as putty, very evenly. If the volume of the compressor receiver allows, then by installing a wider nozzle, you can achieve very good performance.
