So, let's start making the simplest aircraft, the Yak-12 model. In order to make such a model, you will need the following tools and materials:
• plywood or thick cardboard;
• hand jigsaw for wood;
• a sheet of paper for a template;
• pencil or marker;
• sandpaper (if working with plywood).
The first step towards creating a model is its template (drawing). In my case, there was a clipping from an old magazine, which can easily be copied onto a blank white sheet. To make the task easier, you can use our template by printing it on a printer.

Next, all paper parts must be cut out using scissors. It should be noted that the size of the parts can be adjusted independently by increasing or decreasing them on the computer.

After the paper parts are cut out, they must be attached to the plywood, traced along the contour, after which the templates must be put aside.

When the outlines of the future aircraft are drawn on the plywood, they must be carefully cut out. To do this, you need to take a jigsaw for wood and carefully cut out all the parts; you should be especially careful about the small parts that hold the main ones together.

The last step is to collect all the parts. To do this, you do not need to use any glue or other fastening components; all parts are inserted one into the other.

So, by spending just an hour of time, you can easily make an airplane that, even if it doesn’t fly, will be one of your child’s most beloved toys. Don’t forget that you can involve the baby himself in the work, entrusting him with the most enjoyable part of the job - decorating. You can decorate the plane by painting it with paints, adding stickers in the form of stars, animals or other elements, or you can leave it in its original form.
