Most of the time will be spent on making small parts. First, cut off 15 grams of soap base (transparent), chop it with a knife and place it in a plastic glass.

You can use other dishes for these purposes, but plastic is convenient for me. There is a big temptation not to wash them after use, but to throw them away immediately. But I try not to do this, given their environmental impact. Place the soap base in the microwave oven at medium power level. We heat for about 30 seconds. It is better to look into the microwave more often than to let the soap boil. Add 4 drops of red pigment and mix. Sprinkle the mold with alcohol and fill the area under the berries.

As soon as they are set, we tilt the mold (for these purposes I use a silicone stand so that the mold is held even at an angle), and fill the bottom of the bird (the belly of the bullfinch).

We spray everything with alcohol again. At first glance, the colors may seem pale, but when we pour in the base soap, it will give them the desired brightness.
Now we take 10 grams of opaque base, cut it and drown it. Add 5-6 drops of yellow pigment and 2 of purple. The result is a brown color. If you have ready-made brown pigment paste, great. It is important to use pigment dyes in multi-color soap, and not food dyes, due to the migration of the latter in the finished soap, that is, the colors will begin to blur after a couple of days, and there will be no precise lines. We fill our branches.

You don’t have to try to do everything very carefully; when the layer dries, take a toothpick and remove all the unevenness.

Now we take 10 grams of white base, drown it, and fill it with snow on the branches, snowflakes and bullfinch (without the head).

We wait until everything cools down, and again we remove all the unnecessary mistakes. It will turn out like this.

In bullfinch, the white soap should extend beyond the edges of the red one. In nature there are no clear boundaries, so the bullfinch can turn out differently. After this, add 5 grams of transparent base and add 3 drops of black dye. Fill the bullfinch's head (photo 9) and tail.

Then add 5 grams of white base to this remaining base to make a gray color, and fill the top of the bullfinch.

Again, remove all excess with a toothpick. After this, you can spray the mold with alcohol and lightly wipe everything with a cotton swab so that there are no soap crumbs left. It should look like this.

All that's left to do is to heat 60 grams of white base, add shea butter, flavoring (10 drops), glitter and mother of pearl on the tip of a stick, mix everything quickly, and after sprinkling the mold with alcohol, pour it in.

Glitter and mother of pearl will give our soap a festive look. We wait about an hour and listen.

That's all, though. The first heralds of the New Year's mood are ready. Come up with an original form of packaging (it could be a box or a craft bag). And your gift is ready!
