We take the first piece of fabric, place our phone on it and trace its outline with a thin piece of chalk or dry soap. All operations are done on the front side of the fabric.

We get the outline of our phone transferred to the fabric.

We retreat from the resulting contour line outwards by 1.5 - 2 cm around the entire perimeter. It turns out something like an allowance for sewing two parts.

We fold our two pieces of fabric inside out to each other. We pin around the perimeter with sewing pins to secure the fabric tightly and cut out both parts evenly. Cut along the contour of the intended outer line.

We sew decoration elements onto both parts of our phone case. For this I had lace, from which I could cut individual elements in the form of flowers. Here, as they say, whoever has enough imagination and patience for anything can create an applique from all kinds of stripes, stickers, sequins, beads, buttons, make decorative embroidery or something else.

We draw the outline of our mobile phone. If it was erased while working on the patch of decorative details, we will update it by circling the phone itself again. From the contour line of the phone we retreat outwards a distance equal to the thickness of the phone divided in half. If the fabric is elastic, then you can subtract from the resulting number of millimeters from one to two millimeters. This is done so that the phone does not fall out in the bag of their case and at the same time, so that it does not have to be pulled out with difficulty. From the open side of the cover we draw a line to the cut. Again we chop off two parts with a pin.

Using a machine, we stitch together both parts along the resulting outer line, stepping back from the open part of the cover 0.5 cm from the edge. Let's try out how the phone itself fits into the case. If it is very tight or weak, we adjust the stitching.

Carefully trim the edges of the cover with zigzag scissors. If you don’t have such scissors, you can sew any decorative stitch on a machine, or simply sew a zigzag stitch using a thread of some contrasting color and carefully trim the edge.

As a result, we get an original handmade mobile phone case. This is a nice craft to carry with you in your purse; you can make it for a child or as a small gift to a friend. It is done quickly and does not require expensive costs.
