This kaleidoscope is very easy to make and elementary school students can do it very well. Kaleidoscopes can be made from a variety of materials, such as towel reels, plastic bottles, plastic molds and cardboard. You can also choose what to make the reflecting prism inside the kaleidoscope from: it could be a mirror, a computer disk, or foil.
So, in this master class on creating a kaleidoscope with your own hands, you will need the following materials:
1) sheet of cardboard
2) foil (can be taken from a milk carton)
3) scissors
4) tape or tape
5) matte and transparent plastic
6) glue
7) beads, pieces of glass, pebbles, etc.
So, let's move on to creating a kaleidoscope.
1) Cut the foil into three identical strips, approximately 2 cm wide.

2) Then glue the strips with tape into a prism like this. The foil should be on the inside of the prism.

3) Take a sheet of cardboard and twist it so that the prism fits inside. Glue the resulting tube with tape or glue.

4) Cut out two circles of plastic according to the diameter of our cardboard tube.

5) Place the transparent circle on the prism. And by the way, the prism should be about 1 cm shorter than the tube.

7) Glue a matte circle on top. If there is no matte circle, then you can take a transparent disk and cover it with parchment paper or rub it with sandpaper (zero) until it becomes matte.
8) So, now we make a lens (where to look) for the kaleidoscope. To do this, draw and cut out a circle from cardboard along the diameter of the pipe plus another centimeter.
